The True Linkswear Antigravity is the brand’s most technically ambitious shoe to date – and its most direct challenge to the premium end of the spikeless golf shoes for walking market. Launched in March 2026, it brings Pebax superfoam to a golf shoe for the first time, borrowing midsole technology from elite distance running to tackle the problem every walking golfer knows well: fatigue across a full 18.
At $199, it’s priced at the top of True’s range. The question is whether the engineering justifies it.
What Makes the True Linkswear Antigravity Different
The headline feature is the Pebax superfoam midsole. Pebax is a foam compound that has become standard in high-performance running footwear for two reasons: it returns significantly more energy than traditional EVA foam, and it does so at considerably less weight. For a Pebax golf shoe this is new territory – no other golf shoe currently uses it – and the application makes particular sense for walkers. More energy return per step means less leg fatigue across a long round. Less weight means less effort on every stride.
Paired with a full-length nylon speedboard – a lightweight internal plate that smooths energy transfer across the foot – the midsole system is designed to keep you moving efficiently from the first tee to the 18th green. The shoe sits at 10.5oz with a 4mm heel drop, keeping the foot close to the ground in the low-drop style that has defined True Linkswear’s walking shoe lineup from the beginning.
Construction and Waterproofing
The upper is built from a recycled ripstop shell reinforced with a TPU laminate, making the Antigravity one of the more practical waterproof spikeless golf shoes at this price point. The laminated construction carries a one-year waterproof warranty and has the added benefit of being straightforward to clean after wet or muddy rounds. A TPU mudguard protects the toe, a perforated neoprene tongue promotes airflow, and an antimicrobial insert rounds out the interior. The tread pattern is designed to work both on and off the course.
Colorways and Sizing
The men’s True Linkswear Antigravity launches in four colorways – Cloud White, Glacier Navy, Fade to Grey, and Sunset, which is exclusive to the men’s range. The women’s version is priced identically at $199 and shares three colorways with the men’s shoe, with Soft Lavender taking the place of Sunset as the gender-exclusive option.
Men’s sizing runs 7 to 15, with half sizes available to 12.5. Women’s sizing runs 5.5 to 11. Several colorways across both ranges were already showing limited stock at launch – if the Antigravity is on your radar, it’s worth checking availability sooner rather than later.
Where It Sits in the Golf Shoe Market
At $199 the Antigravity sits at the premium end of the spikeless golf shoes for walking category, above mid-range options but competitive with technically focused alternatives from brands like G/Fore and Ecco. The Pebax midsole is a genuine point of difference – the energy return and weight argument is a meaningful one for golfers who walk regularly, and no comparable golf shoe currently offers it.
